Robyn Studios was founded in April of 2020 by licensed architect Robyn Thomas as the formalization of her over twenty-two-year span of design experience. In the years since, the studios have become a highly sought-after regional design fulfillment and resource center for families, business owners, HOA boards, builders, and a growing list of industry professionals.
Robyn is NCARB certified. This prized industry certification provides and expedites reciprocity, an agreement across all 55 US jurisdictions. While based in metro Atlanta, we operate in both Alabama & Georgia and are available for select projects nationwide. Our team continues to grow to meet the increasing needs of discerning clients.

HOW IT ALL STARTED Hello there, I'm Robyn Thomas, AIA, NCARB, NKBA, ASID, a Georgia-based licensed/registered architect and interior designer with over 22 years of experience and an architecture degree from Auburn University. Maybe you are like me and developed key interests early in life. My love of design started when I was a child, dreaming of beautiful spaces at nap- and bed- time and later photographing buildings and interiors on school trips and vacations. I started designing homes for clients while in college. Upon graduating, I worked for the national Atlanta-based firm, Cooper Carry, designing and project-managing the construction of schools and shopping centers. I went on to acquire and renovate residential properties, as well as coordinate the design and construction of civic buildings. ​HOW IT DEVELOPED I am convinced that well-designed buildings and the spaces they hold have the power to elevate how we live. Here are a few key experiences that helped me understand this point more fully: I am a graduate of Leadership Buckhead and an alumna of the Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning, & Landscape Architecture Advisory Council. Traveling is an amazing privilege. I thank my parents for providing me with opportunities to visit many places throughout the US and go oversees to United Kingdom as a young person. As a student in the Auburn University Study Abroad Program, my travels & studies spanned Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, & the United Kingdom. ​ HOW IT'S GOING My current focus is bringing residential design projects to life. As exciting as this work is, my reasons for living are to be my best version of a volunteer in an international Bible education work and a wife to my amazing husband, Ryan. I of course think all my friends and family members, especially my mom Ruby, are the best in the whole world. Well, they just are.
